BENNI'S NEST x ZirbenLüfter®

The ZirbenLüfter® is a natural air purifier and humidifier that is made domestically from Austrian pine wood. When we started, we were the first to make a room fan out of pine wood. There are now other, less high-quality products on the market. That's why we're particularly proud that the ZirbenLüfter® is the only room fan made of pine wood, whose effectiveness has even been proven by several studies.

Its primary purpose is to improve the indoor climate. Most people in Europe spend around 90% of their lives indoors and we breathe in an average of 10-15kg of air per day. Good indoor air therefore has a direct impact on our quality of life. Improving the air indoors can therefore have a major, positive effect on our health - and especially on our sleep, because we are in the same room for several hours at a time and want to recover as best we can.

The idea for our first model, the ZirbenLüfter® CLASSIC, came from a carpenter friend who is now retired. Back then, he manufactured the very first ZirbenLüfter® exclusively for us. We then further developed the product together. Our current models are available in the BENNI'S NEST online shop: the CUBE II (for rooms with up to 40m²) and the CUBE II mini (for rooms with up to 15m²).

In principle, the ZirbenLüfter® creates air movement and pleasant air turbulence of water in combination with pine wood 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The humidified air is moved through our handmade pine slats by a quiet, powerful and infinitely adjustable fan, which act as a filter. In this process, the air is cleaned, optimally humidified and distributed throughout the room with minimal energy expenditure.

As you know from your own experience, the pine is a very special tree. Its wood contains essential oils that give it its unique, soothing scent and can also have relaxing and calming effects. The ZirbenLüfter® distributes these oils in the wood in very small quantities throughout the room by turbulence, thus ensuring a pleasant climate and improved humidity and air quality.

As already mentioned, the heart of our ZirbenLüfter® are the handcrafted wooden slats made from natural, Austrian pine wood. They were specially developed and surpass competing products with their craftsmanship and durability. We also use evaporation containers made of hand-made, white glazed porcelain, which are made for us in an Austrian factory and are particularly durable. And of course there is our multi-level adjustable and very powerful fan, which was specially developed for ZirbenLüfter®. We managed to do this almost silently.

Maintenance is actually quite simple: the evaporation containers of our ZirbenLüfter® are dishwasher safe. The pine slats can simply be rinsed with water and replaced every 2-3 years. By the way, we offer a 5-year guarantee for the electronic parts and fans in the ZirbenLüfter® CUBE II and CUBE mini II.

What sets the ZirbenLüfter® apart from other products is its craftsmanship and durability. What's also great: You don't need any additional fragrances such as pine oil, as is the case with other products. With the ZirbenLüfter® you don't have to constantly buy additional products, which saves money and resources for our customers.

We have already briefly mentioned that the ZirbenLüfter® is the only room fan made of pine wood whose effectiveness has been proven by studies. So we know that it can reliably filter allergens, bacteria, pollutants and unpleasant odors from the air and thus ensure better indoor air quality. This is useful, for example, for people with respiratory diseases and allergies, but it also increases the well-being of healthy people.

Bedrooms and children's rooms are interior spaces in which we sometimes spend the longest time, namely several hours at a time - precisely because that's where we sleep. High air quality is therefore important so that the body can regenerate as best as possible.

For example, we have received a lot of positive feedback from parents whose children have problems with their respiratory tract, for example pseudocroup, cough or asthma, and who can breathe easier in the room and have fewer seizures thanks to the ZirbenLüfter®. But healthy people also benefit from a healthy and natural room climate in their bedroom. It helps you relax better and breathe deeply while you sleep.

In fact, the ZirbenLüfter® is perfect for aromatherapy because it evaporates the essential oils cold and the scent molecules are not destroyed mechanically or by heating. Another great feature is that the fan in the ZirbenLüfter® is equipped with RGB light. This makes using it even more pleasant and calming.
